      the company is not around.

      i own the domain now.

i was going to start it up again but after my lawyers looked into contest law in canada and the US they found out that you can't just randomally generate winners (like contentlotto and lottobuilder.com does) because it is not truely random.

It is possible to do but you must write a custom random number generator and test it on at least 1500 machines simultantiously. record the numbers to prove that it truely random (equal distribution when taking into account the margin of error).

didn't have time to do this but i did record the incomming hits when it was active so i know all the sites to contact to re start it when i do have the time.

And who decided that it has to be tested on 1500 machines simultaneously?

You sure seem defensive for something that hasn't existed for longer then most people on GFY have been in the industry, were you a hall monitor when you were young, or did they even have schools then?

Any programmer worth his salt will tell you that a random number generated by a computer is not truely random. It is an approximatation of a random number based on a varient of the seed value of the machine (processor, memory, bus speed, time etc).

It comes from the margin of error requirements specificed by the states. It has to be simultaneous because of the fact that time is a variable in the machine seed.

I hope your due diligence for your other projects is a little better than your due diligence for content lotto.

Finally won a prize... which I never received.
