I made my first Adwords sale

This is a bit tricky, and i just barely broke even with my first sale.. but it doesn't matter... i expect to lose a lot before i get the hang of it - just like any business

Can anyone point me to any good reading material? it would be much appreciated

While I can see instances where this would be effective (on terms that no one else is bidding on), most of the time you want to get a higher CTR. A higher CTR increases your ad score and thus allows you to pay less for a click and stay in the same or higher position. The key is really filtering out the garbage terms and focusing on those that convert highest.

Aren't you having a tough time keeping keywords active with low CTR?

No my words are quite specific plus it is British traffic. We shoot alll our own content and alot of the girls are exclusive (not contract but they just do hardcore for us). Because we have this content it works and we pay fuck all with google and make a very good return.

congrats on the sale. I suggest doing a keyword report once a week at least, and combining it with your sponsor stats in a spreadsheet. Track every click as close as you possibly can so you know which ones to stop wasting money on to increase profit.
