Actually many of them are sleeping on dirt with a thin blanket. I have several penpals and still some of the friend of mine that was killed by a KID with a machine gun. And the meals..... those are prepacked non luxury foods, I had to eat them after the Hurricane hit because we had no power, water, etc. Most of these posts don't have "mess tents" set up with hot food. I was married to a military person..... they don't make as much money as you think they do, it's the government that wastes it all on 500.00 toilet seats......
And I support anyone that wants to send items to Iraqi people. Find me an address and a group of Iraqi's that can speak English, because I sure as hell can't write a letter in their language and I'd be happy to send it along.
AND FOR THE LAST TIME THIS IS NOT AN "I SUPPORT THE WAR THREAD" BECAUSE I DON'T.
