I want to simplify my fiances business a lot.

I need something that can run some windows apps, act as a cell phone and or walkie talkie (both preferred). Easy to sync up with a PC and other of the same units.

Now the one super requirement is that is must be as rugged as hell. They are out in the field all of the time doing landscaping. So nothing fragile or made for the yuppie office types.

Suggestions?
