    video converter software from .rm to .wmv ?

    I searched on Google, download.com and tucows.

    I tried 5 softwares who all stated they would convert rm -> .wmv

    None of them did. Aimonevideo simply crashed each time I tried to run it.

    Any suggestions ?

      yeah it's called 'disk opererating system' try changing the exension in DOS or windows

          BTW it works with .mov, .wmv, .mpg. etc

              Damn that is a tough one. You do realize most rm content is low bit rate and highly compressed so when you re-encode it for wmv it will look like shit, right?

              Also depends on what version of rm you are trying to read.

                  I agree 100% , for whatever reason you want to do this CHMOD try and find an alternative. Count on it looking worse than the quality you start with.

                  The only exception to this is if you you just want a small cropped down version for some reason. Like if you took a 320 x 240 rez .rm and wanted to convert it to a 160 x 120 rez .wmv clip. It would probably look ok then, still not as good as using the raw avi though.

                      Not worth it

                      Dido the rest of the posts. U need to get your hand on at least the mpg. Rendering the rm if possible on a video editor would be very unstable and glitch tainted
                      SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60. Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.

                          this site is awesome in terms of helping you convert anything to anything.

                          (just choose the format conversion pulldown menu)

                          however i checked and they had nothing for rm to wmv. But this would work,

                          rm - > avi
                          avi - > wmv
