look at it like this, his clothing line, he designs none of it. he only says hey i like this or that and that's all there is to it. so he has good designers and people buy the name essentially not the clothing. musically he rode biggie and remixes of biggie and old cuts of biggie from the studio that even biggie didn't think were good enough to sell on an album. he took the fact that his face was all over biggies videos and then turned that into album sales about 2 times and since then he can't sell or produce shit.Originally posted by JupZChrisComment

Simply, he's a marketing genius and I've respected him since day one! I knew about him back in 94 or so. Hot 97 was playing his stuff and he thru several events to get his name out there. He launched several careers before biggie, such as Mary J Blige and Jodeci. Despite what you think or others, he never rode on the coat tails of biggie! Sure he's got a team around him but ANY succesful business person doesn't do it all. He's got a ton of companies! It's about delegating to people who are competant and who can make your vision a reality. Sean John (clothing line) did $300 mil last yr... Do you think anyone can accomplish that? He's one of the hottest guys out there and he's 100% on top of his game.
Regarding Season 3... it's gonna be a #1 show because there's drama and cute girls. Actually, I watched all seasons... this one is gonna be good
