You know, you're out in a public place, like the lineup at the bank or whatever and some dingdong's phone goes off with some cheery tune you'd rather not hear.

i wish i didn't have to have one...when i was a company manager for many years, i refused to give out the number - if someone needed me, they could beep me and leave me a message, and *i* would decide when to call them back ;-)

but i have the highest respect for whoever came up with the concepts of text messaging and sending photos by cell phone - when it comes to revenue streams, they make recurring billing look like child's play lol

I have Cypress Hill's

" I wanna get high" as my ringtone which is normally a very cool ring and most people dig it until two days ago while eating at my chicken spot-it went off

I was sitting next to a Sheriff- he looks over at me in disgust-
I tell him , " I am a huge Cypress Hill fan"

He looked at me like...are you fuckin serious??

Though I do have the common decency to turn the thing to vibrate only in restaurants, concerts, or other public functions where the tone would be terribly disturbing.

Lemme see....Sana Chan is a "MAO!!!" ringtone, (sounds like a cat meowing)...everyone I speak with in the business is "Taking Care of Business".....and then the more obnoxious shit is for friends...CET is "Pick up the fucking phone!"

I had to bring this thread back... because...
Yesterday I'm at an auto parts store, waiting in line for a special part.

Meanwhile there's this dude in the line next to me being served. He's waiting too, when suddenly his cell phone starts ringing. Of course it's some stupid fucking cheesy little song. Maybe the theme to "Barney & Friends" or something. Anyway it was really annoying.

He actually stands there and lets it ring for a few seconds before answering. Like he wants the whole world to hear his ridiculous choice of ringtone. I roll my eyes back in my head and think "what a loser!"...

He finally answers the phone and about 2 seconds after he says hello, he drops his phone on the floor and busts it! HAHAHA... I actually broke out laughing and he looks at me like "dude why are you laughing?"....

It made my day!!!
