Ok so it was early in 2002 and i was working at a mortgage company as a loan officer. After about 6mo work (and $4k later) i had my very first adult site up and running! www.pleasuredvds.com (still up, not running)
MAN did i think i was the shit! all day and night bargaining with wholesalers around the world, demanding the lowest prices because i was the next big thing!!
So im at work and finally finalize my first bulk order! 3,000 dvd's assorted titles, $2.25 each!! (if i remember correctly) and i faxed them over my itemized order, to be delivered soon in a few days.
Well dont you know they took the address off of my cover sheet, from work! and mailed them there!!
Imagine my face as i came to work one day and saw all these old people trading them frantically as if they were precious baseball cards!!
"hey jane ill trade you "big black holes" for "tiny teen titans", is what i heard when i walked in!!
I didnt know wtf to think, then it finally hit me! OH SHIT i thought, and i told them all they were mine and i messed up on the address somehow ....
it took me to let them each have whichever titles they wanted, or else they would rat on me!!
well the site never took off because paypal sopped processing for adult. I often get orders placed, but they dont get processed ... damn i should really switch it over to some new processor huh? lol
anyhow, thought id share that memory ... pretty fucking funny!
