It shows nothing more than him using his body weight to push the guy back... Just watch how he goes back and then forward with his body, then pushing his arm... This isn't a hard thing to do with a subject that offers no real resistance, as is shown in the clip...Comment

1 inch is about 4 feet 11 inches too close to be to someone who is about to take your head off. If you know anything about the 1 inch punch you know that the whole point of the demonstration was to show the transfer of power from his hips all the way up to his fist. The only reason its called a punch is because a fist is involved in a forward motion....whatever you want to call it...theres still a tremendous amount of power being transferred into thats guys body.
