Chat Traffic Scams?

I'm getting a ton PPS requests from chatters and hear a lot of bad stories about chat traffic so I'm curious what are the ways they can scam me....

Im thinking of making a trial review period for these accounts and i'm wondering how far into the future can their sales chargeback or credit?

Any input on the potential scams to look for will be appreciated!

They will simply offer your customers more than you have. So in return you get a higher % of chargebacks, that are hitting you up with fines. In the end you loose a billing processor due to high quanitity of chargebacks.. I think

Not only will they over promise but they will send your surfer to multiple sponsors in one session.

For example the fake girl gets a horny guy on the hook. He wants to see her live. She requests that he signs up to your site. After he signs up he says "well how do I see you?" She will just say something is wrong but why doesn't he try this link instead (dropping a link to another program). They repeat this process until the surfer gives up.

Meanwhile Joe Blow signed up to 2-3+ sponsors and didn't see what he thought he was going to see. He will cancel and CB all of the transactions.

there is a loooong list of things to check in order to prevent fraud 50% of those are scammers but the rest is good traffic

There's a good reason why they (chatters) will not promote revshare.

It never rebills. If it does then it will charge back months later.

Then on top of it, many if not all of them will toss in the stolen CC # every few joins so you can expect those to comeback as well...

You'll also get better results from Panamanian chatters versus Philippino chatters...

We had a HORRIBLE recent experience with them. Fortunately we caught them and didn't pay them out, however, it did result in chargebacks. Of course they only want PPS and won't even touch revshare hehe.

Basically a user would sign up for one of their sites, then the company or whomever would take that credit card info and buy a bunch of fake memberships to diff sites in our program...blatant theft. It was nuts. It's the first and LAST chatters program I'll ever work with.

These particular people who hit us were based in the philipines.

Some of the chat traffic is legit, but you have to keep a very watchful eye on it. They also card quite a bit.

that is 100% correct do not try it with something else besides cams or dating or you will get back tons of cb

I certainly can not speak for all of them, but from experience 99% of them were scammers on different levels so the company no longer accepts it, gave them fair warning that their traffic would no to stop their traffic and they would just create new accounts and didn't claim to be ''chatter traffic'' expecting not be caught.

...CC Fraud and using VERY deceptive 'promotions' to get the user to enter their cc info, so basically the customer thought they would be getting one thing, got another...

Again, this is just from my personal experience, I'm sure there are honest chat traffic webmasters out there as I do know 2.

Alright, I've been in chat traffic since I was 14 years old and now I am 23 so I know how it works, the only thing you have to do is to choose the right group and choose the right membership ( choose full membership ) and mostly chatters are doing carders, I know it because I also handled a program for chat traffic. Working with my partner almost 1 year now never been into trouble because we know how to control their sales.

In addition, they are always do chat traffic and 90% of the time are from the Philippines. Due to bad experiences in the past we no longer accept anyone who does Chat Traffic, comes from the Philippines, or calls you Sir.

Or contacts you on ICQ asking when they are getting paid.

They just scam visitors into paying for your site. They promise things like that will get real dates with porn models etc. You'll receive loads of chargebacks and if you do depend on rebills don't expect to see any. My advice is stay away from any affiliate that calls you sir.
