Dude, are you talking about? He's offering 40k salary as an employee plus benefits, not 40k as a 1099 bitch.

People talk about how they pull in $50k+ in addition to commission as affiliate managers but most of those guys fill out 1099s, have to pay 30%+ in taxes (if they do pay taxes), and pay health insurance out of pocket (if they have health insurance) which can easily comes out to $5k a year.

What a joke... 40k is a major insult.. Also 401k doesn't mean shit, however healthcare is nice since that might run someone $700+ a month.

To get anyone worth a shit, I'd think you will need to start at 30-40k + $1-2 per sale.

This might not be bad for a webmasters that already had a steady income of a few $k per month. I could only imagine trying to live on that amount there in LA..

In other states with much lower cost of living $40k wouldn't be a bad deal, especially for someone whom wasn't a newer affiliate manager.
