So there is Probably New Scammer in Town.
Nickname is - jaymandk
at the Email he called peter sørensen
Or jakob Sorensen
Or the viking
the Email is [email protected]

The story is very simple - he promised to build me a website. We closed the technical details and the price - $ 200.
He want me to send him the money only via western union !

We corresponded in e-mails more then a week - about the details, he sounds nice guy, and understands the Business.
Once the money was sent to him ...... silence!!!
After about a week I sent an email asking if there is any progress and whether he received the money?
He replied that he started working on the website, and not even take the money yet .
this was on june 1
About a week later I sent an email asking what's up? Silence again ...
he replay me on june 12 "i mate...

no no im just laying in bed sick atm, as soon im up i will contnuie to work with it"


This was the last email I got from him ...
He Do not answer also on ICQ, Skype ......

There are some legit site builders right here on GFY. The next time you need something post here first and see who everyone recommends. Zuzanna Designs is probably the best known and most trusted.

Write it off, chalk it up to not knowing what you're doing, and learn from it.

Maybe it is the kind of site you kick off in few hours, no unique design, or very basic that you kick off quickly.

Well hell, if that's the case there are free (or very cheap) template design sites you can go to and put something like that together yourself in no time flat. I know they're out there, I've seen their commercials.

i been away to the hospital as i told you, i will give you your money back, im not a scammer i never was and ill never be !!!! send me an email with your name, contry and ill wire them back, i can even give you right away on paypal, just to be clear that i dont scam any one, but for the fuck sake one is allwoed to be sick and in hospital, i could understand you if i dident tell you that, but i acc did....so simple mail me your paypal and ill refund i will not let this happend !!!

Or something in between when you take a template and add new features. Out of the box is not always suitable.

I don't. I think its creative spam from a potential scammer...

Example: Both accounts are the same person - Account 1 says that account 2 is willing to do really cheap work, gives full contact details of account 2 (inc email addy etc) but 'complains'...

Magically, account 2, (who has been missing in action for ages) appears within less than 24hrs, gives a hospital excuse, and promises to make good 'He not scammer...'

Now we all know that if we want 'webshite 4 $200' just contact account 2 and send him money via WU... But you WONT BE SCAMMED... As proven by this thread...

Alternatively though, just call ME fucking jaded... (Cause I kinda am TBH...) But... Shit gets old real fast...

Unfortunately the problem is still not resolved
On 6/25/14 he promised to return the money through payPal.
To this day I have not seen a single dollar in my account

It is really strange that he suddenly returned from the hospital the same day I opened this thread........

These days we are all walking around with smartphones, and can receive e-mails everywhere, I can not believe he did not see all the emails I sent him

Sometimes this doesn't always work either - I've been run over by some people that came with extremely high praises before hand - you just have to be cautious about ANYONE you work with - sucks but is true and I don't even know how to guard against them when they come with high praise and still rip people off.
