Ferrari Fans - get in here!

We are returning from our Italy trip that we took after the EU shows and while Roma, Bologna and other cities were amazing, the highlight for me was spending a day and night in Maranello at the Planet Hotel overlooking the Ferrari factory and track complex, getting to have an owners VIP tour of the Ferrari Factory (no photos allowed) and then visiting the restaurants, Ferrari museum and spending the day with other other enthusiasts. It was so great, even Marilyn loved it and she thought she would be bored...

Years ago when the wife and I toured the Jack Daniel distillery in Tennessee - the tour guide took us through areas where photography wasn't allowed. I figured it had something to do with manufacturing/trade secrets. But in fact - the alcohol fumes in the air were highly combustible...so they didn't allow 'flash photography'.

Luckily, I had lugged my tripod along...and was able to get a few good interesting shots (without flash) in areas where most people weren't able to take pics.

I used to have a F430 6-Speed, then a F430 F1, then a 430 Scuderia.
Now I'm looking at the 458 Speciale, lets see when I will first be able to testdrive one and how much I will like it.

Btw, next time you should also visit Pagani, which is very close to Modena too.
