Let's play a game - Which image has the highest CTR? [THE RESULTS]

So almost a week ago, I posted a thread with a poll where everyone could have a guess at which image got the highest CTR. Here's the link: http://gfy.com/showthread.php?t=1121723

Surprisingly, only a minority (14,52%) got it right. Here is the image again:



The winner is: Image 3

Here's a table with the exact number of impressions and clicks.



Image 3 is the clear winner and image 2 and 1 aren't far behind. The gap between the other 3 is quite big though. I'm surprised that image 5 and 6 did so bad.

Let's see who here is good at guessing what image is getting the most clicks

To make an accurate guess we needed to know on what site(s) the pics were shown.
They would all have low clicks if they were shown on gay sites

The targeted sites didn't include any gay sites and were more or less the same for all images.

So, 4,5,6 was clear to me that it wont work.

It doesn't matter what drove the traffic. But it's not fair to say that pic won because it's the hottest.

There are TONS of variables that come to play when testing CTR. You really need multiple tests to come to conclusions. Underwear color (or lack of) can make a huge difference.

All 6 images were inserted into the PlugRush feed system. Then they got rotated and shown on hundreds of different sites. The sheer number of sites, countries and impressions make it unlikely that the order they were started in makes any difference.

There are TONS of variables that come to play when testing CTR. You really need multiple tests to come to conclusions. Underwear color (or lack of) can make a huge difference.

I agree there are many variables, but this is just a game to test people's intuition and experience.

If anyone is really good at Photoshop and wants to try the winning image with multiple underwear colors, pm me and I'll run them in a 2nd experiment.
