I had a similar experience. Ordered a dozen roses for my wife, and they looked like someone picked them out of a dumpster. It appeared they had been picked about 3 weeks prior. Called them to complain... They sent a replacement that looked exactly the same.

Safeway roses in comparison look like a million bucks compared to ProFlowers crap.

My dad used to work for Sherries Berries who owns Pro Flowers... swore they were pretty bad-ass. I took it on his advice that they were a kick-ass product... boy was I wrong. They sucked major cock.

My past experience with Proflowers is this. Order. Card charged, Flowers arrive, look like crap. Call and complain. They send replacements, The replacements look like the Fedex guy ran over them with his truck. Call and complain again. Then they sent another order of flowers that were nice, and put a $50 credit on my card. Never had them double charge.

I ordered flowers from ProFlowers and I got dead flowers also 1-800-flowers is much better because they just put in an order to your local florist, however, like someone else said, just call a local florist instead and cut out the middle man.

I will give a major flower buying tip here. Buy from http://www.flowerbud.com. You are ordering directly from the farmer(s). They are pricier but the cost includes Fedex overnight shipping. The person receiving the flowers gets them in a state where they were cut 24 hours ago and in bud form. Other flowers go from the grower, to the distributor, to the florist then to your door.

you realize most of these places are just middle men making the order for you. I went to get some from a local place and the lady was running around like mad, she said if I helped her for ten minutes she would make me anything I wanted. Just being nice and what a deal why not right, we unloaded two small trucks and she was saying how busy they were. They work with over ten companies like 1-800 flowers. Check the sites. They are all the same except they take a cut for making the order and fucking it up for you too lol
