Just AWE being AWE. They've never been affiliate friendly. I remember one of their reps posting on another forum years ago about how affiliates don't deserve rebills. That told me all I needed to know about them.
You don't like my posts? Put me on ignore or fuck right off. I'll say what I want.

Actually that wasn't on another board, it was right here on GFY.

If you don't do it, somebody else will - true story!

AWE it is full of affiliates, who does not read GFY, or they read but not care/believe at.
The reason AWE got so many affiliates (despite several negative reviews here) it is: they buy lots of traffic spots, and this cause most affiliates to advertise them. When I try to buy popunders in tubes, always jasmin prepaid next 2-3 months. This let every affiliate to think: hey every adult site I go it is advertising livejasmin, so they make money with it, they can't be all wrong, so I will advertise livejasmin too. These affiliates do not figure that it was a prepay buy for a spot, they think it is a pps or revshare deal "and if they keep it, it must convert".
It is the same when in a country there's the face of same leader in every street and square, then everyone will vote him - here we got livejasmin popunder in every adult site and every affiliate will promote livejasmin.

True, during the affiliate uproar when they discovered that "lifetime" revshare actually only meant 14 days, the owner came on gfy and stated that he felt 14 days was more than fair and affiliates should be thankful for that. Keep in mind that affiliates had been sending traffic for almost a year before a couple of them got wise and posted on AWE's board with inquiries as to why revshare never seemed to go past 14 days.
Then shortly after this all occurred AWE held the infamous "Live Sex Awards" which cost them over a million to put on and they gave away over $250k to cam models. So after telling affiliates they were only worth 14 days, they turn right around and blow a million plus on the stupidest award show that flopped miserably.
The part that I always felt was very shady was that they never changed their wording on their affiliate signup page to reflect a 14 day revshare program. So many new affiliates signing up never realized they weren't getting lifetime revshare, which every other cam program was paying out. Then they came out with whitelabels and proclaimed that affiliates would now get lifetime revshare as they would keep all their customers, however, they sneakingly changed the whitelabel revshare to only 10% instead of the standard 20% to offset the lifetime payout.
There was also the webmaster referral payout fiasco someone eluded to earlier. They also got caught using stolen images on all their promo material. I could go on and on with things AWE has done that made me discontinue promoting them long ago. I know they pay and I know affiliates who have done well with them, but they are one company I just don't trust and won't ever promote again.
Wow, so nobody makes over 10,000 a month with them?
Not me. I used to make up to $4k a month with them. I used to send new affiliate traffic from my "Make Money on the Internet" informational blogs. Made some nice money from that and their 30% 14 day REVS cookies. Which I always knew were 14 days.
They never even launched a 20% Lifetime Revenue share until a couple years later. When they eliminated the 18% lifetime webmaster referral payouts, I felt pretty fucked. But not as bad as I did when they began the $222 PPS program.
Basically, all my traffic was 14 day cookies with just a few Lifetime REVS. If those 14 day members hit a tubesite with a popup (What are the chances of that happening in this day and age, right?), a 30 Day PPS cookie is set.
But PPS does not pay if the the punter is already in AWE's database. Still, that 30 Day PPS cookie trumps mine.
AWE knew from statistical reports, before they did this, that a disproportionate percentage of the worlds internet users were already in their database when they launched this program. They knew that $222 would rarely be paid. That's why they did it. And major affiliates chased after it like a jackass after an apple on a stick.
That's how AWE cockblocks my recurring traffic. Fucking bastards. It's perfectly legal
