If you don't have a 39.95 one 1 month billing option you're losing money

Been doing this for years.
There is a big group of people who REFUSE to sign up for anything that rebills. Even if you clearly mention they can turn off rebilling at any time.
For those people i offer 39.95 for 1 month option, rebilling turned off.
Quite a big % of people sign up for that instead of the rebilling membership that is almost half that price.
I know many sites offer 1 time billing but it's often for 6 months @ 120 bucks or whatever. Which will be too expensive for a lot of people.

Try it out and thank me for all the extra money you will make from now on. You not only get people to sign up who otherwise would not but you also make a whopping 40 bucks per sale.

Question is what are you offering for recurring.. I offer 24.95 recurring and add 10 bucks to non recurring to make it 34.95.. you saying it should be an extra 15 bucks for non recurring?

I have been doing this for the better part of a decade, and many do it for the reasons Franck said. They do not want a recurring anything. I charge anywhere from $5-10.00 more, and they do not flinch.

I charge less per month for rebilling and more per month for non rebilling.

Add another 5 bucks making it 39.95 and test it out for a month and compare the numbers.
If i'm wrong i'll pay you the difference...

yup this is true, The high dollar joins for 3+ mos are used more by fraud sales than they are worth.

I have offered non recurring for $5-$7 more for over 4 years and I stand by it. The way I see it is so many surfers don't trust they will be able to cancel a recurring membership that they will pay extra for a non recurring membership. Some of these same people will resign up the same way a few mos down the road if they liked the site. Don't think of it as you are losing a chance at a rebill cause the ones that go after a non recurring membership were never going to rebill in the first place. They are the members that cancel their membership before they log into your paysite the first time so they don't forget..
