There is a simple way to hide your server's URL which is visible in the Piwik tracking code on each of your sites:

Tried this little trick above out several months ago, and it's been working like a charm ever since. The server footprint was the only thing holding me back from using Piwik full-force when I first tried it out a few years ago. On a whim, I decided to give it another look and noticed that little tip added to the FAQ. Thought I'd share for anyone else who might have missed it, as this is one very nice open-source stats tracker.
