Help me take down ORON.COM - File Sharing Site

If you have 10 extra minutes... there are a couple of things you can do to add relevance to the phone call to PAYPAL that I just made.

If you are not aware of a site called http://kitty-cats.com you may want to make yourself aware. They post our content... and then sell memberships to ORON.com to get paid.

So what I did was login to PayPal and hit their contact button. You have to login in order to get a web code to give when calling.

Listen to the menu and say agent when prompted. Then tell the agent you have a large fraud to report dealing with adult content.

They send you to a fraud person who takes the information that you give him and send it to be investigated.

I figure the more of us that do this... the more chances of getting PayPay yanked from Oron. Wouldn't that be great to have their paypal account frozen... the affiliates aka content pirates don't get paid... haha!

If anyone wants to spend 10 minutes of their day please feel free to do so.

When you DMCA make sure to send to the site, the host, the domain registrar and the upstream provider for the host. Its time consuming but if you piss them all off enough, they might do something.

I have even been referencing the News articles about Mega.

I think that site does have what may be child erotica on it, can't confirm it though. Thought I was on it some time ago when I did a google search for my content and found that message board.
They had newstar stuff on there, which violates federal law. So best bet is to report them for that and it'll help expedite shutting them down.

Paypal is fully aware of what goes on there, keep on them until you see them take action. Over the summer I got them to force Oron to ban any user who posts my content. Why they are still allowed to post other people's content, who I know have also complained as much I have, I'm not sure...

That place is a HUGE hub ripping off any solo girl site you can imagine. kitty-kats.com is often the main starting point for stolen content before it even hits UseNet.

If that was true then the users of kitty-kats would be screaming bloody murder. It's practically required to be an oron member to be on kitty-kats, their main posts have the website's affiliate code with instructions how to sign up. So the site itself is making commissions directly from oron for stolen content downloads.

I went to Oron.com contact page as well... I sent them a simple message including a large list of files that belong to me. I told them that if they did not remove these links and content that I would go to paypal and let them know.

It seems that all of my files that are or were hosted at oron.com have been removed. I believe that they did a blanket sweep and banned the two users that were posting the shit out of my stuff.

What email address are you using for paypal when you include them on the DMCA notice? Are you CC or BCC'ing them on it?
