Just to a quick look the articles and for marketing it's nice basic stuff. The biggest problem is it's so vague. I didn't see a lot about what to shoot, how to shoot, how to make the content interesting and any general directions on how to make the content appealing. It leaves the door wide open for this.

You just tell people where to go to market and leave the content of the site very very open.

Maybe marketing in ones own style is enough, still giving them directions on how to enhace that will double or treble there sales and retention.

Still for a Ma & Pa operation it good stuff on one side.

hmm the top 20 models on mfc are almost always the same. if a model can't get on and stay on the 1st page, then you are totally right, they shouldn't use mfc as a marketing channel. there are at least a dozen solo models with paysites using it to their advantage tho.

its just one of the ideas i suggested. i would love to hear more from guys with experience marketing solo models. marketing isn't my primary job - its developing PornCMS - so there are many guys with more info than me. please share!

depends how close you are to your solo girl and what all she will do.

for example, lilcandy shoots with alot of regular guys "not pornstars" We have a profile set up on aff with small vids there, we find lots of guys there to shoot with her, her vids get an insane amount of views, which builds a nice fan base, she seems more real than other girls, expecially giving that people have the feeling they could meet or be with her, so alot of people join from there. another thing is posting on craigslist looking for local guys to shoot with her, sales always go up when I make these ads. I would also suggest your social networking sites like twitter be listed on your tour.
