When I travel from BC to Quebec, I am usually on cruise control at around 120mph (190kmh). Not very fuel efficient, but it only takes me 40 hours to cover the 5200kms including stops for gaz and food. Going fast is also the only way to stay awake during 40 hours straight on the road.

My 86 monte would do 6.6 seconds, 144ish mph, in the 1/8th.
Fastest I have gone was just under 200, in a 1991 mustang, but I wasn't driving.. It took about 1 mile to hit 200. It was almost out of gas by time we slowed down a few minutes later.

I was thinking about getting those same AT Italia's...No offense, but for some reason I don't like the way they look on that car.

They look really hot! I loved them, until they got jacked from my car one night.

I now have Falken Gunmetal ones on there, both sets are/were 18"s


BTW The AT Italia's are really heavy.. partially due to all the chrome on there, so if youre wanting to go fast, you need a second pair of wheels for going fast, and those AT Italia's for cruising like a pimp.


Those tires were Yokahama ES100's, which I lived as well, but now theyre stolen. I have lower profile ones now, Falken too.

I've done 235 KILOMETERS/h on the road, bloody straight line but its stiill dangerous.. Also if the coppers found me i'd be without a driving licence for a year!

The car i was driving is a Leon 1.8Turbo 180bhp..dunno if you have it in the states..
