I am one of those views. I watched it for maybe 10 seconds. My guess is that 99% of the views it gets are like me.
It went "viral"...which these days isn't really VIRAL anymore...it got shown on CNN and Fox News and TMZ and all the gossip shows which made everyone go to see what the fuss was all about.-Robbie

I watched it when it debuted before it was popular or even well known. I still like it. Psy is a character. Of course if you don't know kpop or korea at all then you'll be wondering why people like it. At this point it's moot because it's under it's own momentum and will stop at some point. His song Blue Frog from the same album is catchy too, but it's probably going to just be one of those one hit wonder type of pop culture things.
