I'm no angel myself but I've learned not to do business with the scum. There was one sponsor I once promoted who had a bunch of stolen art. It did quite well. I let it go because it was an old school program when started and times were different then. However a few months after sending joins he knocked my percentage down to 20% without any notification. Then there is AFF. I did well with them for years and mostly ignored the bad things about them because they seemed to make me more money. Now do some searches and read the messages people have been posting about their conversions in the last six months. Then there's another guy here who had a program I liked and could easily convert. I recently read that he did some shady stuff in the past but I decided to ignore it. Come to find out recently he changed his program in a way which screws over affiliates badly. And let's look at the people getting screwed by programs and partners running away with the money. If you look carefully in most of these cases you'll find that there were warning signs and that they had a bad history.

In my opinion if you deal with people who have no business ethics eventually you too will become their victim. But do what you want. It's your business.
