**Scammer Alert ** GFY imposter ** Paypal Fraudster

it seems a scammer is checking out GFY and then asking for payments..in this case ( see below) it was for a domain but l guess they may try the same trick for content etc with others.


NOTE: Scammer Alert ...some is spoofing [email protected] and asking for payment for domains using the following details:

Paypal Details:

Sent to: Eric Gauthier (The recipient of this payment is Non-U.S. - Verified)Email: [email protected]

Payment sent to: [email protected]

also requests payment as a gift.

Warming - DO Not Make Payment.

I have a verified account and never ask for payments to be sent as a gift.

I would also check that the email address..paypal is verified and not to send as a gift amoungst other things , the more checks the better it seems.

guys like eric who have been scamming for years probably have multiple VPN's or at least a dynamic ip from their host

although he does seem pretty stupid about covering his identity - ie uses the same email to scam people with etc so who knows

COOL ! I bought a CSV mass importer script for AVS to avsdesigns one month ago...

The script wasn't working and he told me he will repair it for the v2.1 of AVS, he was supposed to send me the new version the next day... I'm waiting since one month and he doesn't answer anymore.
