Satellite Dish (broadband) Connection?

Im in the process of moving to a new neighborhood and they are barely starting to put fiber optics around the area, DSL or CABLE is not an option until March or April 2002.

Anyone out there using a dish? Is it at least better than ISDN?

It would be very shitty to be on dialup for 5 months.

i have sprint sattelite, it downloads at 256k but uploading is slow as shit.
