If you write it, the post should be at least 50 and no more than 300 words.
If I write a dedicated blog post, it will be 100-150 words AND will also link to a sponsor.
Also note that the posts do not necessarily have to link to sites or posts which are of the same niche.
For example, if you have a gangbang site, a dedicated blog post on the Czech Porn Stars site can link to a post which features a gangbang scene with a Czech porn star or the homepage with anchor text such as: "See Czech Porn Stars And Other Hot European Porn Stars Getting Gangbanged At Site"
