    3D Porn

    I know there's a few devices like mobile devices that have a 3D screen so that you don't need to wear the glasses. It only a matter of time before it mass produce TV and monitor with special screen so we don't need to wear the glasses as well.

    My question is do you know if the content currently use for the 3D glasses need to be modify in any way for it to work with these new advance 3d screen?

    Maybe it too early to ask but I'm curious.

      If you've got the footage shot in stereo 3d AND have the both channels (left/right) raw files it's not a problem to encode it to the proper format.

      Selling 3D porn means a lot of hassle with multiple formats, so encoding another single one will just eat a bit more of the cluster's processor time.

          Its all shot the same way. With 2 "broadcast" production cameras that are Gen locked and timecode sinked. Its just processed out differently for the different ways of viewing.


          It is a hell of a lot of work shooting it and a hell of a lot of time processing the footage. The people that have it are the people that paid good money for it. 3D is not fast and cheap to produce.

                              Agree. Our company shoot 3d more then 3 years and people interested in it and buy it. If you have RAW channels you can convert it for all types of devices or any formats you need.
                              It is not cheap to produce it but it sales.
                              The main problem now is that people don't shoot stereo 3D, they convert it from 2d.
