There are several groups working against this piracy ring and it seems the hackers responsible for this hack on PlanetSuzy and WJunction are also wanting to wreak havoc on the same piracy ring.

I don't know who owns what and don't really care anymore, but logic says that if you are willing to be involved in one aspect of piracy and found it to be profitable, you wouldn't stop there. You would get your hands into every possible form of piracy there is. Why stop at tubes if you can make money elsewhere too?

It's very hard to draw lines in anything.

I recall someone who ran a lot of cam affiliate work got fired for recklessly advertising on torrent sites, it was a PR move to fire him (just a quick memory recall but I might have my facts wrong on that).

One individual who has donated to AK's fund and is not directly involved with Manwin has worked directly with the ringleader of the Wjunction/PlanetSuzy, perhaps unwittingly. People will do business with others who willingly rape the piss out of others business models as long as they see a net positive. That's just the way this business seems to work.

It's nearly impossible not to get tied up to some degree with people who do things that aren't right.

Tubes made money off of running infringing content and then were able to license content dirt cheap, because of this they are legal now, mostly. That argument is idle.
File lockers ROI is too low, always is, to lease any kind of significant amount of content.
Many of the uploaders and owners of the file lockers like to point out that manwin is perpetually evil and try to argue as if "two wrongs make a right."

Nobody is going to be fined or jailed for advertising on pirate sites.

However people may be prosecuted for being involved in criminal conspiracies to engage in commercial piracy. Certainly the case of the Kaktuz piracy ring falls into the criminal conspiracy category.

I don't remember it exactly...but I think he was just looking to get traffic to his tube sites? But I could very well be mistaken on that.

I don't know about photo/video sites as I don't run one since 2004. But I can tell you for sure the pirate guys buy on cam sites, no less than legal traffic sources.

As part of my normal job I buy traffic in every network and broker, simply as "us, ca, au" or "hq countries", from "all network" or so. Then when I get paid signups, I go check the http referer to identify the sites they come from, just so I will target these specifically in next campaign with a "whitelist domains", to spend my cash better. And here I get always some "full dvdrip" site (some I posted in this thread, but is so many more).

I can certify that some guy from those "ful dvdrip on filelocker" site (common in adult ad network), and from torrent site (rare to get via adult ad network) spend $100's if not $1000's with time, no jokes. From countries such as USA, Australia, for example. I can even tell their age as they write it in the register form optional info

Then as an advertising buyer, to be a good guy, I should blacklist from control panel of traffic broker, those pirate domain names despite make me sales... Ok I can do it since my budget ends before I buy all the legal sites traffic available, is easy. But, if I had a million+ dollar budget a mo like those "big" sites, how not to consider pirate traffic, simply as the return of investment it can be good? Make it danger to buy, or people will simply buy.

On a side note, I check also where our affiliates (of tubecamgirl program) send the traffic from, and, some are buying from those URL redirect/mask services, or image screencaps hosting, which are 90% handling pirate traffic, complementary to the full dvdrip which must be "link masked" and "preview screencapped". These affiliates invest own money to send me traffic, shuld I tell them they're bad guys.

In cases such as this with organized pirate operations, I'm for scorched earth. Everyone do what they are able to do. Some take the high road, some take the low road. But burn them to the ground however you are able to do so.
