Is SallyRand Nick Danger aka Marion Lynn?

I was browsing gfy and came across some posts from a SallyRand. Don't know why but my bullshit detector was going off big time so I did some looking around.

Sally carries (or carried) in her signature a link to onestopcorporationshop.com and says that she comes from Kansas.

I did a reverse dns on her domain and found 5 or 6 other sites on the server. Now, I realize that a site can be on a shared server so just because all the domains are there does not mean that the same person owns them. However, usually on a shared server you will get back a lot more than 6 or 8 sites. Be that as it may, the number of sites listed was small enough that I could do whois lookups on all of them pretty quickly.

I found out that out of the 8 domains listed, 3 were under privacy from domains by proxy and 1 was under privacy from network solutions. The other 4 were all registered using either J Lynn or Marion Lynn and an address of 10940 Parallel Pkwy suite K # 199 in Kansas City, KS (A UPS Store). So, we have half of the domains on the server definitely associated with the same address and same last name. In addition one of the domains with public info used an email address that references one of the privacy protected domains as the registration email address, so that ties 5 of the 8 domains together. Then bring in the fact that all of the public registrations are from kansas City, KS and SallyRand claims to be in Kansas and carries one of the private domains in her sig and it seems pretty obvious to me that the same set of folks control all 8 of these domains. This is either a dedicated account that I am looking at or it is a virtual account with a static ip assigned to the account.

So, then I did a little googling. The first whois I had seen was for Marion Lynn so I searched for Marion Lynn Kansas.

The first result happened to catch my eye:

In blog called I Kill Spammers http://ikillspammers.blogspot.com/20...ion-again.html I found some personal contact informatiion for this Nick Danger aka Marion Lynn. There was an email for him that matched an email used to register one of the domains I had looked up and a phone number listed matched a phone number on one of the domains, so I was pretty sure that this Marion Lynn/Nick Danger was the same Marion Lynn that registered the domains I had looked up.

Reading up on stuff, it appears that a couple of years back, Marion was considered a pretty bad guy by some people. There are blogs about his spamming and his various hacking adventures which he freely boasts about.

So, it is my definite impression that this SallyRand character is actually a guy named Marion Lynn out of Kansas City Kansas who is a known spammer and hacker.

Nice folks you meet in this industry some times, you know?

You're right; I did miss this because I was perusing older threads while relaxing as today was a long day and I had to whittle down the last two acres with the tractor, hopefully for the last time this year, so here is how the connection was made but the connection isn't real in the sense that you might think it is.

About a year ago after my discharge, I bought a defunct business from an estate which included about 50 dead corporations, some prepaid hosting, a few shit properties, a bank of phone numbers and a slew of domain names. I also got in the sale some mailing addresses and paid the registered agents, who have nothing to do with the corps other than receiving official mail from the Sec of State and I got this whole thing for a really, really good price and did it through my attorney. I filed the required update forms and paid the fees on the dead corporations and then sold them at a profit as shelf corporations, which is quite legal.

Two of the properties were in Kansas City, Kansas, one was up near McClouth, which is where I actually live and I sold one of the KCK properties and may sell the other but it could also be used for other purposes, so I'm not sure about that one because it was very cheap and would be hard to replace at any kind of sensible figure and I am using it now as a sort of office and crash pad for when I am in the city, which I am far too often for my liking. The farm is much better. After dissolving the original parent company and setting up my own, I continued the business of registering corporations and do maybe one or two a week through Onestop but it's not a big deal. I investigated setting up a payment service when ePass went to shit but gave up on that when I found out about the bonding requirements in many states in order to have a money transfer service. Those would scare you to death!

So the deal is that I apparently also unknowingly acquired some shit that was buried in the sale that I'm not even sure the lawyer knew about as he was only disposing of the assets of an estate but I'm damned sure going to speak with him about this and more!

The only thing that I am interested in is doing good business in the adult industry and that's that.

I have bought a server account before only to find out that every ip they gave me had been permanently burned into the rbls and I couldn't even mail a newsletter from it. Somewhere on someone's part due diligence does not occur and all you can do is try to fix it after the fact.

This I have to question. I have seen posts from you in the past discussing some definite gray hat and black hat methods of marketing (at least imho). I have also seen you state that you would consider using marketing methods even if they were illegal. That is not (strictly imho) good business. I did not make the original post. It was made on another board and the info it listed was already out on other boards that it was quoting. You really need to revisit the rules;p If the info is publically available it is fair game and since this was found in google it is pretty much publically available.
