    Stop giving away video..YOU FOOLS!!

    Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know that free video galleries convert really good...but not when there are 50 million of them out there.

    Show free pics and tell the surfer to sign up for the video!
    Doesn't it make sense to hold something back from the surfer?

    I just dumped most of my free hosted video galleries.

    We should give the surfer a reason to sign up like "sign up and get something that you can't get now for free"... instead we are saying "sign up and get more of the same shit you just got for free".

      I can fully see your point. Despite my post count, and my over 4 year absence from the WM world, I still remember the porn webmasters proverb which said "no pink for free"... a philosophy which seems to have been ditched.
      Back in the day of inefficient compression most free vids were only around 5 or so seconds long and converted like a mofo.
      Anything longer than that, allows for surfers to blow there wad without whipping out a payment.

              In some areas of the industry, webmasters start up sites, or build galleries even better than what is offered inside paysites, just to attract surfers. That is the difference between a professional webmaster and an amateur webmaster. Professional webmasters always keep in mind that their goal is to sell memberships to paysites. Amateur and newbie webmasters just want to see big traffic numbers.

                  i would say offer video if you are a high quality video site.

                  if surfers first see your video gallery and get off on it,
                  then see it again and recognize the quality they are more likely to sign up.

                  there is a few high quality movie sites that also have pics but would be pointless to post pic galleries.

                  the problem with movie galleries is that many of the movies are low quality or crappy, a waste of bandwidth to even post them. surfers download and close before the movie is over.

                      I agree that sponsors can offer a few vid samples on their paysite tour but I should not be making 3000 galleries with free video. Instead just show pics of the video clip and send them to the sponsor. How can the sponsor convert if I give away better video than they have on the tour?

                                  It´s nothing wrong with that. Your visitors will NOT pay for 15 secounds movies anyway! I think that the movieclip that sponsors have now is great. Cut the fucking movie when the facial or cumshot is near.

                                  The real customers can´t jerk off in 15 secounds. They start the clip, start jerking but can´t finish until the clip is over. Start another one and do the same thing.... After 3,4,5,6 or seven clip, they are so horny so they don´t know what to do.

                                      I build and submit 4 movie galleries per day. Thats 3 minutes worth of porn from different movies I give away.

                                      I will not change doing so because I do not feel I would make as much with pictures as I do with movies. I run a few MGP's also. Imagine instead of having a movie series and having a picture series? It just wouldn't work!

                                      It would be excellent if people did have to sign up to get movies coz we'd all be making a lot more money. Everyday someone gives away more and more so we need to keep up. With all the sites out there now why would someone come to my MGP and click ten times as opposed to going to another one?

                                      Its all about outdoing each other in that respect!

                                                          When you say you need to keep up with others who post video I say bullshit.                                                                           I hear what your saying. However I will not stop building and submitting movie galleries until there is a huge decline in webmasters doing so. The day everyone else stops is the day I will also stop.

                                                                          The way to make money is to stay on top of the game. Wether that be giving out more free porn or stopping giving out movies thats up to the individual. My perogative is to give away 45 seconds worth of video clip per gallery.

                                                                          I fully understand your point of view tho. With all due respect tho its each to their own.

They started a price war among the air lines with their low fares and simply drove themselves out of business. Decent airlines kept their prices in the profit zone and ignored them. I was sitting next to motherfucker's who brought all kinds of nasty shit on board to eat because they didn't serve meals in order to keep their cost down.

                                                                                                      Going cheap and giving shit away just because the competion does is not a guarantee to stay in biz. Some surfers see a cheap price and promisses of free stuff as "too good to be true" and just skip it and go to a biz that seems reasonable.
