      I guess it depends on the person. I know two guys who had two very different reactions to being married. One was kind of lazy and not very motivated then he got married and that helped him focus on getting a better job and doing more with his life. He admits he is much happier and better of being married. The other guy married a woman who treats him like a child. She doesn't let him do anything and she is very controlling. He won't say it, but you can tell he is miserable. He used to be a fun-loving guy who enjoyed going out and doing a lot of different things and now he just stays home and watches whatever she wants to watch.

                      Basically, he married a woman who controls most aspects of his life and he doesn't do anything that she doesn't give him permission for. They do what she wants and that is it. I remember he once told him that she won't let him DVR a show he wanted to watch because she didn't want him wasting time on a show she didn't like.
