They shouldn't have the legal right to hold their EMPLOYEE accountable for his or her actions? They shouldn't have the right to protect actions which they perceive will hurt their profits.

Freedom of Expression - and it is a somewhat vague concept - guarantees that a magazine can print a story denying the holocaust. It doesn't guarantee that you have the right to write that in spray-paint on my house and it doesn't guarantee you, if you are a writer, the right to have your story published in any magazine you submit to. The editor is NOT the owner of the company.

Indeed the man seems depressingly comfortable with the whole concept of enforcing political correctness with the threat of job loss.

The magazine story was specifically about the controversy surrounding someone's lynching comment. A magazine editor doesn?t have to be a KKK Grand Wizard to think a picture of a noose just might illustrate the issue.

Now, a presidential candidate has scored a political point or two and another man is out of work.

I for one will be looking elsewhere for my next president.
