Post number 23456
Thought I burnt it in another thread. I am no longer interested in the trend of even number thread announcements. Expect to see me make a new post count announcement when I hit 34567, seems more fun that way.
Typically I often try to say something useful, semi enlightening, or at least thankful to others. Alas why differ any. Have learned a lot this year and discovered even more about those I do or planed to do business with this year. Many I can now call my friends, some have been lowered to associates, while others which once looked promising or were on the schedule to be used in a project have shown their true colors and been dumped into my pile of people to skip over regardless. The newbie heard looks promising, though it is a tough split with the sheer number of what can now only be referred to as a combo of a sigwhore who also spams ref links at every given possibility. I have found some very solid talent though in several new webmasters and I am very glad to have them on projects making us both some money. Seriously it looks like 07 may go down as the year of the scams. More companies and long standing webmasters risked it all and often lost it major ground. Some companies forever tarnished, while some webmasters cashed out their good names and businesses over a few thousands of dollars if that. Really a shameful period I must say. Almost figured it would also be the official sky is falling year however scams seemed to outweigh potential legal issues. Shows, shows, and more shows. I do like the idea of the smaller show and the traveling shows, however I really do hope in the future we all can whittle them down to a lot less. I swear it seems like once you get back from one your packing for the next and still miss another. All of which if you run a company you almost feel compelled to have someone representing you if not yourself or most of your staff. Oh well I guess that is a typical bitch. Regardless of it all here is to another 10,000 more posts around here and hopefully I last long enough to make it that far. This year was rough enough with spending four months of it in a hospital while launching a new paysite from a near 56k connect and doped up or feeling fucked over while receiving blood. Not to mention the wedding and everything else. Wish you all well, yes even those that are scum as maybe you will see the error in your ways. See ya.
