Yup, and not a moment too soon as ARS is letting their popup-based-greed rule and have recently removed any possibility of linking to their join pages.

It's nice to see a big sponsor step in when another sponsor fucks up. KICK EM WHILE THEY'RE DOWN BOYS, lol

You can link to the join page as a private tour aslong as it's approved by global & ars...

Right, but it's a royal pain in the ass and approval takes waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long.

We don't need that level of bullshit in our lives just because ARS has legal problems or wants to pop more consoles. Trust me, I sent ARS over 6000 signups during the past 12 months, and they run a solid, if genenric program. However with all the things I have to do each day, you can bet that any additional steps aren't welcome, period.

This new system is designed to net ARS/Global more money while protecting Global's legal liabilities, Marc De has even said words to that effect on the ARS message boards. At least they're honest, but I'm taking my 500 signups a month elsewhere.

No sure how long they will take but, yep, you need approval with MaxC also. Don't blame them. That takes care of the "interesting" part of what I thought earlier.

Yes that is true, I am lucky enough to only be using 1 tour so I have little to change..

i just started using MC again. It's the sponsor i got my 1st signup. I can't recall the reason I never used them so far...

I remember very well i wrote down a list with all the available sponsors and how reliable are on payments. I did a whole research because the last thing i wanted back then is not getting paid (and still hehe).

Maximum Cash was on the top of all the sponsors.

Mako - the process is much more simplified and the fact is you only have to submit your private byot tours for Global to review. You don't have to put exit consoles on your private tours and there is no way we are making 'extra' money.

I love how people get frustrated and assume they are just being FUCKED in the process. Couldn't be further from the truth.

Max Cash is offering this now to try and pick up some of our webmasters, that is obvious. They will soon learn though, through legal frustrations, that you can NOT allow webmasters to link just ANYTHING to the join page. Retention numbers will fall and consumers will complain in volumes that will cause headaches beyond control.

The new BYOT (which encompasses BYOT Private and BYOT GIM Private [where you build your own tour for an EXISTING GIM Site]) was created to give people the ability to run a webmaster program (in essense) with their high converting site w/out dealing w/ payout, getting webmasters, and running the actual paysite side of things. Its truley an innovative idea that will make a lot of people money.

Those who link directly to the join page now simply send the url through an application and get approved. The current join page linking will be removed no sooner than 15 days from now and will be informed to EVERYONE using it before those changes are made.

We welcome everyone to come take a look and will work closely with webmasters currently linking to the join page to make this VERY seemless and ache-free as possible

Hey Marc,

If you know anything about our history, you know that we don't REACT. Throughout the years we've taken INITIATIVE, not reacted and that's why we're where we are today. Honestly, I thought it above you to make such an underhanded comment on a public forum. Live and learn.

We have lots of other new webmaster goodies in the works as well - and they too are a result of taking initiative and moving our business forward, not in reaction to anything.
