Im sure you can do well with both, In my opinion the different programs are designed for different types of traffic, but who knows.

The partnership program is more long term as you will make more money as time goes by since rebills wont start until after the first month.

If you want to make some quick cash than do the per click program

Depending on your traffic (and the quality, content and updates inside Amateur Pages), you should get over 60% of trials converting to monthly memberships. I don't know how well Amateur Pages retains its members, but I think 3-4 months is about the average for most large paysites.

Also, I would recommend the partnership program over the per click program as payments are done by a third party (Ibill is money in the bank).

Just my

Where did you cull out those numbers from Naomi? I haven't seen Lens's numbers but I do know what industry averages for large programs are and those don't match up at all.

Thought I'd edit and mention this -- in no way do I doubt that a specific program or other might get those numbers, perhaps a smaller amateur site, but I would never see someone give a reseller those types of numbers, getting their hopes up, and then seeing a program have resellers bitching if it didn't live up to those rather optimistic numbers.

hmm.... sorry Kimmykim I forgot to add a little disclaimer to that post....

Those figures are from my personal experience based on partnership programs I have used in the past (not including AP). Everyone will of course have varied results...

Kimmykim, can you perhaps give us an estimate of the industry average?
