Best PC tech support?
Ok folks........ I am going to be buying a new pc in a couple of months and I want to know what YOUR opinions are?
The last 3 I have purchased are both Sony VAIOs, and while I love them........... I had a slight problem with my big one a month or two ago and have STILL yet to be able to get thru to their tech support about this......... 17 attempts and 8 days and I am still waiting to get something from them. I gave up after 8 days and said to hell with it. While there has been only ONE problem in the 3, it sucks I can't reach them, and this is still under warranty. Ok... I had a Gateway. Two of them in fact, mine was a piece of shit, but my husband's is still going strong after 3 years..... now is dealing with the harsh reality of my kids. While I am not a huge fan of their computers, they had the BEST, bar none, tech support of any I have dealt with. So what I am looking for is an awesome computer where I can also get some awesome support to go with it. I need YOUR opinions..... please be honest with me. LOL

I've had this Dell for right at a year. I couldn't tell you about their customer support since I've never needed it, although they have a pretty extensive online support area.
My wife has a an el cheapo Emachine which is about two years old and never had a problem with it either. Before that I had an old Compaq P120 with 48mgs of ram and that bastard was a workhorse! RD |
