you cannot regisater your name on your server if you could everybody would be doing it.
However you may be asking how to point your domain to another server/host for that you contact your registrar of the domain and have them change the name servers to point to where you'd like to host. |

Are you sure is not possible because some registrar offer domain ? so if you start your own registrar , you will able to register domain on your own server? thank you |
