When a customer clicks on a thumbnail, do they prefer the image comes up on a plain white background, a colored background, inside a frame, with links to the next/rest of the images....

I noticed some gallery programs make the full image pop up on a plain white page, others put the image in a box with borders, and number links or button links.

Is there any reason to use one or the other????

I assume you're talking about in a members area
I don't think they really care as long as the pictures are high quality.
Our pop onto a new html page, so the image is nice and centered, but I don't think our members would care either way.
