Wireless - Netgear VS D-link
I have D-link now, but with some problems in the past. Thinking about switching to netgear as I only heard good things about them. What do you guys suggest?
Maybe this one ?

Haven't had a problem with Linksys yet, that wasn't caused by my own stupidity. Same goes for Microsoft wireless hardware, although they don't seem to be too popular for whatever reason.
Haven't tried NetGear myself. |

I've worked with most of the major brands of networking gear and LinkSys was always the most trouble free.

I have a netgear and it's decent but not great ... just goes down from time to time for no reason.
My girlfriend has a Linksys and the thing seems to work flawlessly ... ![]() |

My linksys has been great....except.
If you disconnect the power form your router and cable modem at the same time, be careful to get them into the right plug when you're ready. Apparently my router is 3.3v and my modem is 12v or something. Guess what...the 12 fit right into the 3.3 hole. Can you say hello burning smell and buh bye router? |
