King Arthur: I actually liked it quite a bit...

I loved how they showed a unique take (one that seems very realistic) on the whole Legend of King Arthur.

What were your thoughts??

have yet to see it. I'll probably say im gonna rent it, then I'll say I'll wait for pay per view, then I'll wait for cable, end up watching the first of it and changing the channel to watch chappelle show reruns.

I wasn't expecting too much out of it besides tons of fight sequences......however the story was great

I'd recommend still seeing it in theatres...then again the theatre only costs like $2.50 over here

Unique take for sure, I also loved the way Saxons were represented.

Realistic? No way.
They were basing it on some new "evidence" which is a pile of crap, they are a few hundred years off to make Arthur Roman/Sarmatian.

Movie itself was quite cool though.. and did I mention that Saxon parts were awesome?

not sure what their evidence is.....but in any case the lack of magic and deaths of main characters made it more real for me =)

Saxons were great, reminded me of Norse Mythology

The major problem I had was the depiction iof the Saxons invading north of Hadrians Wall. The wall was there to keep the Scots out and they would have made short work of the Saxons, who I believe invaded later and further South.

But other than that a good film.
