nutcase religious ex girlfriend

Ex girlfriend is seeking spiritual advice from her church now, to replace legitimate psychological advice, woo hoo. She won't listen to me, or even be rational about the fact that chuch councelors are not real councelors. They have no training, and no degree, and otherwise no qualifications to be issuing medical advice ( or any advice ) whatsoever. But my ex girlfriend thinks spiritual advice is better than medical advice, even though her problems shine through every conversation I have with her.

I guess her religious obsession is just another psychological problem to add to the stack, though... this is why we're not together anymore.

when she started to feel psicologically disturbed?... did it affected to your job or concentration?
I gree with you, medical advice is going to the point.

Being around religious people and being in this business is like, a really stupid thing to do. Stay far away from those religious freaks.

Absolutely 100% correct. Her mom is a former heroine addict, and both her parents were major druggies years ago... I told her the only difference between then and now is they've found a new drug. This girl is pretty overweight, always says she wants to lose weight but packs on the pounds like no other. I was cleaning out her car one day and I found several empty boxes of Philadelphia Cream Cheese snack bars in her car, complete with a MONSTER size empty box of See's Candy, and about 5 empty bags of McDonalds complete with like 4 burger wrappers per bag. I simply asked her about where all this food came from, and went, and she burst into tears and started yelling and screaming at me about how I shouldn't lecture her about what she eats. So I guess I should just let her gorge herself to death, I suppose.

Her parents have basically forced her to become religious, because they think this is the way to be. They basically excommunicated me from their family when they found out what I do for a living, and tried to force her to do the same. I put a lot of blame on them for fucking up our relationship, but in retrospect I don't think I could live with the problems she's displayed. I can't stand living with someone with a dependence, and she has many. It just drove me insane. She was even dependent on me the whole time we were together, and would cry for hours upon hours if I questioned her religion or eating habits, or even encouraged her to get a better job, or stop her out of control spending. It was just one drama after another.

You got to choose only one. Either stay in this business or be religious.

Hey there! Who said I'm religious? I happen to have a relgious ex girlfriend, which I admit was a big mistake. By no means am I religious though. I have some major problems with the mind warping that goes on in church, and the social problems it causes in society.

It sounds like you need to try and contact her parents or a brother-sister and let them know what is going on. They are the only ones that could carry enough weight to help her.

I've run across a few people that got in to that church counseling. The church can help if the people are rational and its a minor thing but anytime something serious if happening, they need real professionals.

You can ALSO contact your county Mental Health Organization or whatever passes for it. Sometimes they can and will intervene at least far enough to discern if she's a threat to herself or others and see to it the church backs off and proper counseling is given. It's worth a shot since she obviously meant something to you at some point. Call it your brownie point for the week.

I'd be all about having a nice and thought inspiring conversation with her parents, except for the fact that their the ones that made her the person she is. Their the ones that have taken the whole religion thing to the extreme, like it's their new calling. First it's heroine, then alcohol, now church. And then there's the fact that I'm just a pornographer according to them, and I guess it would be when hell freezes over that a religious nut listens to someone in the adult industry.

Ugh, that is fucked up. At least you don't have to worry about the priest trying to hook up with her, since she is a girl over the age of 8.

I'm sure she'd feel much closer to god if she hooked up with the pastor. I'm sure she has wet dreams about someone from the church sticking their dick in her...
