Lets say we take some of the big boys like thehun, mmm100, worldsex, smokinteens, you know ... all the big guys

All the bookmarkers and SE hits they get ...

Lets say the page went 404 to a sponsor. Now you would have literally millions of hits hitting the sponsors front door .... What would you estimate the ratio being?

1:1,000,000 ? LOL!!

So you can get 500k or whatever in one day to your gallery, sent by numurous TGP's .... sometimes only to make between 0 and 20 signups

The same volume but with GOOD traffic ...

500k x 15% CTR = 75k to the sponsors front door

1:500 conversion = 150 signups

150 signups x $30 per join = $4,500

Properly filtered TGP traffic is NOT shitty.

Some of it however, is VERY hard to convert. Certain niches are just full of hard assed jaded surfers, and you have to have something special to turn them.

Detoxed knows what I mean.

As for 500k hits, old school you used to be able to count on a sale every 10k gallery views.. Now, assume 5% CTR, that's 25000 clickthroughs, 1:500 gets you 50 sales. Hell, even 1:1000 gets you 25.

That's of course assuming your gallery is good enough to get good CTR, the site doesn't suck, and the sponsor isn't shaving you.

But, I say again, TGP traffic does not suck.

and u gotta test and test like crazy when u r a gallery submitter,
u start to learn when its ur gallery or the tour or even worse the traffic,

if your gallery has a high CTR that is your job there u have turned on a surfer into clicking into a "pay" situation,

now its the job of the tour to pull through and complete the sale,
the tour is so fuckin key imo when it comes to gallery submission its the "silent" salesman.

I'm gettin 1% to the sponsors 2nd page. Converting 1:300 from that. I'm paying $14.00 on average per 10k. I am making a profit. Enough said.

Shitty webmasters + shitty sites being pushed = shitty outcome.

I have seen better but this does not look too shitty to me. This particular affiliate is currently pushing us traffic from 3 or 4 TGP's. Here are their stats for the last week.

i so agree with this. I see alot of my galleries puling high CTR, yet the signups are disapointing to say the least.

Problem is, sponsors get so oversaturated with time, and its rare you hear about the really good ones unless you have friends (which i do not) lol

aaron i agree with you, and the stats are impressive.

But you cant for a second make me beleive this is a common accurance.

I do agree with you saying you need a good program to push, as well as having some sort of smarts on how to push it .. but that STILL doesnt factor in that you have no control over the traffic you are getting.

It is very common. These stats are actually a little higher (worse) than our average. I do not know a lot about TGP's but I have seen stupid mother fuckers submit galleries for teen sites to mature TGP's and so forth. When you do not target your traffic then you will have shitty ratios. Stop submitting to ChineseTrafficTGP.com and others like it and your chinese trafffic will decrease.

The above mentioned affiliate is sending from 3 or 4 TGP's and doing these numbers...If he was sending from 300 or 400 then his ratio would be very shitty.

Work smarter not harder.

You just contradicted yourself. 1 sale from 25,000 visitors is as shitty as it gets. Imagine 25,000 people in your store to make the first sale.

this isn't search engine traffic. you make money from quantity. 1:25k impressions is a good ratio for tgp's and you can make money.

Lets start here, richie said its a 404 of some huge TGP owner.
Meaning they have a veriety of niches/fetishes for free select.

The only right way to make a sale is to offer all the verieties inside
to the same Surfer that is returning DAILY for his free jack off,
besides, today he only got a 404. That now offers FULL Videos,
Millions of pictures and the whole fucking story and with a FREE
Trial.

To elaborate for the mentally challanged, it means a sponsor URL
of every niche/fetish you have in your TGP, on your 404 as well.

This is just One out of many many marketing tactics, so this goes
to show us WHAT? There is no shit traffic, you can either trade it
convert it, or if you are a smart marketer YOU CAN FUCKIN SELL.

One last thing i would suggest is, Mix up your sponsors, most of
these sites owned by some of the big boys have been abused,
and layouts are way too similar, try something NEW. Test & Test.

Again, this is only based on this threads [richies] exact question.

Thank you Backov! I just went through this situation and know WHY TGP traffic 'can' get so shitty. You've got sites with more bullshit redirects, circle jerks, auto dialers, blind links and barely any content worth a gorilla's asshairs so when the surfer does actually find some content they're like " should I buy from this since I was directed here from a site that is obviously run by a criminal? "

Quality sites and quality galleries the do-what-they-solicit is the key to great TGP traffic.

You should try the granny/mature galleries sometime. I have never seen this much shit since Godzilla had the runs.
