If you have a need to manage support for pay sites, software, services or anything else then there's a confusing array of options that are mostly paid.

A brand new option is a well developed web application called Free Scout.

Free Scout is production ready, it's not beta software. It is under active development and has a well thought out interface and workflow.

Project looks good, but there are 3 odd things about it:

1) They got a DMCA violation warning by the CEO of the paid software they cloned:

2) They didn't want to disclose who is behind it:
https://github.com/freescout-helpdes...out/issues/161

3) Their main domain is whois protected:
https://whois.icann.org/en/lookup?name=freescout.net

If I listed the number of companies that have DMCA'd open source projects because the feel hurt that their idea has been made free then I would run out of room in this post. Companies profiting from SAAS services are regular offenders when it comes to misusing copyright law to protect their 'ideas' - if they had a patent that would be different but they didn't.

Many developers of tools you use every day have pseudonyms, nothing odd about that.

I contribute to some GNU projects under a different GitHub account because I don't want people trying to bug me for support or help.

This is also common.
