cPanel/WHM alternative?
Any free one? tried zPanel but too many things to configure before it runs smooth.

Directadmin is cheap. Or go with http://www.webmin.com/, it's free.

That's the downside to free alternatives. DirectAdmin is a better one but we use Virtualmin GPL which is highly configurable. Cpanel compiles its own versions of software, stores configuration and log files in non standard locations, is terribly old and not patched as quickly or as methodically as they could/should be.
You could also look into ISPConfig 3, not much experience with it, but I hear better things about it than ZPanel.
