Well...their terms do give them the right to revoke access to the their backend at any time the choose and for any reason. I'm sure that was written into the terms for this exact purpose.

I don't think she does. The main thing she is 'guilty' of which I see is asking the developers of the software if what fris was doing is okay and then posting the results here. There's nothing wrong with that. If what Fris is doing is perfectly legal and people think it is ethical then so be it. The people calling her a cunt and personally attacking her are more over the line.

If he was 100% in the right, he would have answered both her and the other chaps requests on the matter in a timely fashion for the threads cited. By that I mean, you/whomever would not be dodgy about it. A simple yes, no, or answer with an explanation would have sufficed.

It's not your fault the developers told you it was illegal and that he was a crook. They have an interest also in not telling people "Hey, don't pay me you can get it for free or at 10% of the cost from someone else". The whole thing is a clusterfuck. You could say Fris is acting unethically but you might say the same about some of these developers who are essentially profiting off of a couple small additions to the GPL Wordpress and then charging for it. There are many ways to see it.

But then we have every theme and plug in company in that package saying its illegal.

Thank you! I fucking hate it when people rip off my Plugins or any code I have worked on for that matter. Hours and hours of work and testing can often go into a product that makes peoples lives easy. Instead of paying a toke here or there they just rip shit off and wonder why 60% of the solutions out there suck ass.

As someone that bought the package, I have no problem with the fact that I may have been able to get them for free. It was worth the money to have them in one spot, from someone whose WP work I do respect. My entire concern is, what can we use and what can't we use.

Thank you madko. We will never know if he has the 100% right as there are too many companies involved. But im not trying to look good... just wanted answers. Havnt really got them though.. just even more confusion. And thats just on the themes.... Theres all sorts in there.

Most, if not all of it is premium stuff that cost money. I don't think there were many, if any, freebies in the batch.
