Crack This Code and Become a British Spy £25,000 job vacancy
The GCHQ ? Britain?s secretive agency of intelligence experts ? wants to find new spies. To make sure it has a candidate who?s up to scratch, the agency is inviting hobbyist cryptanalysts to try and break a code online. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/ukne...b-vacancy.html http://www.nytimes.com/2011/12/03/wo...t-hackers.html |

				 | “Those who can do that challenge could easily earn up to £80,000 a year in the private sector. It’s disappointing that as a society, we are not willing to acknowledge those skills by spending more money.” Iain Lobban, the director of GCHQ, has admitted that while he can offer his staff a “fantastic mission” he struggles to retain the best staff. He told the parliamentary Intelligence and Security Committee earlier this year: “They will be working for Microsoft or Google or Amazon or whoever. And I can’t compete with their salaries. I can offer them a fantastic mission, but I can’t compete with their salaries. “Month-on-month, we are losing whizzes who’ll basically say: ‘I’m sorry, I am going to take three times the salary and the car and whatever else’." |

				 | I've read it's pretty low end on the code breaking scale, I think it's just being used as a ploy to inspire more people in the field. They used to just make movies and tv shows about it...

				 | i didt cracked the code but found one abnormality, when you translate letter to numbers (a=1,b=2...) and add that to table, you can see that there is no same numbers counting 5and6 clone pair on left and on right table splitted, just 1,2,3,4,7 pairs but no 5 and 6... but that did give me no final result... |
