indications that china is looking to shut down crypto exchanges is a much bigger cause of this. $3k level looking like a very solid buy opportunity.

Not yet. It's at $3578 as I write this, and the trend in the past hour is up, but pretty bumpy. A few people I know are still unloading now because they are expecting a significant drop.

going by past history from crypto currency, what goes down must come up.

you want to buy low and sell high, not buy high and sell low.

Here's that run on the bank I've been talking about.. Which exchange goes down first? If just one goes under the price will hit -$500 is my bet.

I just watched it drop $70 in a matter of minutes. It was around $3350 now at $3280. Grant it it's going to be a roller coaster dive but it's def a panic mode dive with likely the exchanges and/or some deep pocket investors trying to stabilize the panic but this will cause at least one to go under I bet.

edit.. Now it's back up to $3308.

It is dipping because of China and Dimon, but Japan and some other major markets are about to make it legit in their banking systems and that is expected to bump it up again.

Agreed. However even at $1500 it will still be in a bubble. Hard to anticipate value when its a first of its kind.

All of you are going to kick yourself for not buying as much as you could when it hits $20K, $50K, $100K or even higher.

It's a combination of China adjustments + profit taking.

Chinese will figure their path out quickly - because they want and need this - history has shown this.

We're buying - liquidating assets to buy Crypto in very large amounts.

Jamie Dimon is an IDIOT per and simple. Why did he say that? His business is ultimately threatened by Crypto. He doesn't care because he's already made his cash in the past, current and future.. but he knows the writing is on the wall for decentralization.

I'm sure quite a few here will be buying.... I'm waiting for it to bottom out. It's dropped over $1200 in the past week and still plunging. Especially as people wake up to the news and sell in a panic. Patience....

In 2010 when BTC was $0.08 MOST could not even imagine $10, $100, $1000 - just wait. We're early early days still.

I'm a miner, so my cost to acquire BTC hasn't changed much, but obviously the value I can sell it for (I liquidate every few days) has dropped significantly.

Time to start building up a longer term stash in my wallet.

When volatility is high it's time to buy.
There is no such thing as gravity in the market.
Volatility always reverts to the mean, but prices do not have to.
