Hello,
Can anybody help me with some advice or a script?

I'm trying to make a embed live cam site , but can't find a script to call API from chaturbate , bongacams , etc.

What I tryed : Wordpress with detube theme and all import plugin. I got , cams from chaturbate , but thats it , only chaturbate , and when a user enters, most of the time chat girls are offline , setted up cron jobs , but still no luck.

What i'm trying to do : megacams.me ( best example ) , livebitches.net, vetocam.com

only at the end to add personal blog , advices , affiliate links , etc. to make an extra buck beside camming.

Hope I will get some help around here

He is not using wordpress, looks like bootstrap.

You can keep it simple, make subdomains and point it at their dns.

livebitches.net is made with a free script that was on nomoneyinporn.org but now the website is down for weeks ! I saw a wordpress plugin in the past somewhere on internet but I don't remember where !

Thanks for the offer, but as you can see from demo posted, with help from k33n i was able to do it alone.

I have a blog with his script but it seems to be broken now.. the thumbnails for the chat rooms don't want to load for some reason

Anyone figure out how to fix his script? Maybe the cron isn't working anymore.. have to manually import the feed to fix it but it doesn't last very long

Oh I see now , I have some errors too , but sorted them out with an php.ini file and this:

i think they updated the code , i cant see cams on my site , not a single cam on any site that i know that uses this script

It's Chaturbate's fault.The script works fine,but sometime chaturbate's xml feed doesn't load.If you check their site during that time,you will see they have problems too like cams not loading or site not loading at all.After they recover your site will recover as soon as your local xml gets updated.

Hey, just saw this.

If you are using the stuff we worked up in the other thread (https://gfy.com/showthread.php?t=1148389) then the easy fix is to not overwrite the local xml file if you do not get a good page back.

so in the section that we did up earlier we already check to see if we got nothing back, but the problem is that we might get something back but it is not the right something (404 error, 500 error, etc):

$flname="/server file path/filename";
$url="xml url";
$data=file_get_contents($url);
if(!empty($data))
{
file_put_contents($flname,$data);
}
else
{
echo "Did not get a file back<br>\n";
}

So, we need a way to check and see if we got the right something back. If you take a look at the raw cb xml file you will see that they have the data encapsulated in a "resource" tag (<resource>...</resource>):

So, we can check to see if we got a valid return by checking to see if there are resource tags in what we got back.

An easy way to do this is to use the substring count function (substr_count(haystack, needle)) and only rewrite the file if the resource tag is there.

{
file_put_contents($flname,$data);
}

So the effect would be when we get a good file return we write the new file. When we do not get a good file return we keep the old file and show whatever is in there.

Now, this works if just chaturbate goes down but their cdn is still working. It will NOT show images if the cdn is down.

So the code would look like this:

I have it running on this domain http://www.nncuteteenagers.com/ (yeah I know shitty domain.. was a deadtoplist)

Seems to only have working thumbnails for a little bit after manually importing the thumbnails..

At nmip there were 2 cb scripts. One was a wp plugin (which I guess u are using) and 1 was a stand alone.

The script k33n is using is the stand alone.

I have never looked at the plugin version so I don't have any input to offer on that.

Sorry about that.

Edited in: took a look at your site and I would guess that your thumbnails are not showing because your feed is not updating.

So the issue would be with cron or however your updates are supposed to occur (as you have already figured out by your manually updating of the feed).

The thumbs are only live in the cdn while the host is online. If they are offline they show the default gray image, or at least that is what my experience has been.

I would have to see the code. In the stand alone I do not remember any calls to nmip.

I might have the plugin code in my dl folder, not sure. If I get a chance I will take a glance.

I do have a copy of the wp plugin from nmip.

In the setup.txt file it states that the update is scheduled to go every 30 minutes. That is probably too long of a wait between updates.

I run camfoxes.com on a 5 minute update and even then I end up with some dead cams at times.

So, you probably want to change that. I am not sure if it is a setting available in the admin dashboard or if it is hardcoded in there.

Right now I have to go make some money, I will try to revisit this later.

I took a look through the plugin files and there is no call to nomoneyinporn. There are 2 footer links, 1 for the nmip twitter and 1 for the rss feed. there is nmip in the plugin title and then it appears a couple of times in comments.

So, nmip not being operational is not an issue.

Cybermike, have you ever deactivated the plugin? I did see that if it is deactivated that the update will be removed from the schedule.

I am not an expert on wp so I am not sure of how everything in plugins work. i do see the code that adds it to the schedule in the plugins index.php. I assume that code gets run at activation time but if there is an install routine and an activation routine then I am not sure what gets run when.

Someone more well versed in WP than I am might be able to answer that.

Yes, if they change the feed then you would have to look at something else in the feed to see if it is a valid return. That is whaat I meant

k33n Confirmed User Join Date: Feb 2009 Posts: 201	It's Chaturbate's fault.The script works fine,but sometime chaturbate's xml feed doesn't load.If you check their site during that time,you will see they have problems too like cams not loading or site not loading at all.After they recover your site will recover as soon as your local xml gets updated. The only errors i know of are : PHP Code: `[04-Nov-2014 11:04:56 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function rand_thumbs()` PHP Code: `[04-Nov-2014 08:28:38 UTC] PHP Warning: call_user_func() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function 'tpl_404' not found or invalid function name in /home/livesexp/public_html/classes/arix.class.php on line 134` but since they do not affect the site that much,i decided to postpone solving them until i finish other modifications i want to make.Anyway it's a huge task for me because im a beginner in programming. And..it's more like Sarettah's version since he was the one that helped me with speeding up the script.

sarettah l8r Industry Role: Join Date: Oct 2002 Posts: 13,488	I do have a copy of the wp plugin from nmip. In the setup.txt file it states that the update is scheduled to go every 30 minutes. That is probably too long of a wait between updates. I run camfoxes.com on a 5 minute update and even then I end up with some dead cams at times. So, you probably want to change that. I am not sure if it is a setting available in the admin dashboard or if it is hardcoded in there. Right now I have to go make some money, I will try to revisit this later. Hope that helps .

There are 2 footer links, 1 for the nmip twitter and 1 for the rss feed. there is nmip in the plugin title and then it appears a couple of times in comments. So, nmip not being operational is not an issue. Cybermike, have you ever deactivated the plugin? I did see that if it is deactivated that the update will be removed from the schedule. I am not an expert on wp so I am not sure of how everything in plugins work. i do see the code that adds it to the schedule in the plugins index.php. I assume that code gets run at activation time but if there is an install routine and an activation routine then I am not sure what gets run when. Someone more well versed in WP than I am might be able to answer that. That is all I have so far. Sorry it is not a better answer for you.
