Do urls matter for SEO as long as named properly?

www.site.com/adult-porno/girl.php?=2

does google care if there is an extension calling in the page?

i overall believe content is king. but if you are king and can optimize why not. (i am not king yet)

Avoid using parameters in your urls. Google will index them if there's backlinks into them, but generally speaking, there could be an infinite possibility of links based on params, so avoid them.

ok thanks for the info :thumbsup im always trying to learn as much as i can.

i think for my landers i am going to have parameters and then have a my other pages indexed before it with regular names. linking through the structure that way.

If you're blogging, use post name. Better yet, use category with post name.

Ya lets have a half an hour conversation about traffic and i bet i make you look like a fucking idiot.

half you SEO douche bags are broke wannabes, that is why im guessing WG does so well.

you cant even rank your own shit but you come onto GFY like a know it all lol.

not to mention not everyone obviously knew the answer, including millionaire webmasters. but good job at poking your nose in a business thread. deterring away from the conversation just for 2 seconds you can feel like a "know it all".

good for you man. suck my cock. you and the rest of adult is crashing and i am laughing the entire time.

you would rather run around with an "i know everything" mentality then actually learn. good for you man.

PS nice domains but your sites are a fucking joke lol.

a free seo tip
put this in your .htacces

RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule ^sexy-girl.html$ girl.php?=2

Visitor and google will see www.site.com/sexy-girl.html in the adres bar when going to www.site.com/girl.php?=2

Hopes it helps

Curious question. I installed vbseo on a large forum of mine. The htaccess rewrites drove the cpu usage through the roof. Haven't found an effective solution yet. Any ideas?

i was just going to separate the 2 pages, ie main site set up for SE and landers with parameters to track, but i may as well set this up.
