Ultimate fighting is lame. Now days it's almost like WWF. What happened to the old days where REAL fighters fought in there, breaking bones and fucking each other up. They were allowed to do anything, NO RULES like a REAL fight.

WTF is up with all this homo shit now days, two dudes laying on top of each other for the entire fight, rubbing each others junk.

Ive seen some brutal fights over in San Jose. Real underground stuff. These guys who fight are high level kung fu fighters. If these guys were to fight in Ultimate fighting, they would literely kill their opponets with throat strikes, and pressure point strikes.

I've watched UFC since the first one til now. You don't think there was a lot of laying on each other back then? Did you ever watch Royce Gracie's fights? He took every one of his opponents to the ground for about 10 min before choking them out.

If they are so great why don't they enter UFC, King Of Cage or Pride.

They might be some of the toughest guys in CA but I doubt they could beat a guy like Randy Couture.

Experience rules. The best real-life fight I ever saw was a guy who had to be 50 years old beat the shit out of three guys in their 20's-30's. They fucked with him outside a bar on 185th street (Cleveland) and he mopped the fucking floor with them.

There is something a little too reach around about two guys rolling around on the ground feeling each other up.

Half of the UFC matches look like the faggot kama sutra.

But a lot of the fights are pretty fucking good. That Shamrock match was tough. I thought he was going to go the distance just to prove that he could.

I love this UFC stuff - have since the beginning .. even more so now that the welterweight champion is from my home town - went to school with my son etc.

It's amazing how popular it's gotten since it gets almost no mainstream attention.

Overall a decent night of fighting...

I like the quick pow-pow-pow matches and hate the 20 minute rollfests...I also realzied things can be a little more boring at live events....like the wait between the matches while the fine folks at home got commentary ;)

I do admit to having went "fuck yeah!" when Tank Abbott walked out "Guess who's back?" :)

I do admit to being more disappointed with the softer rules now, but I also understand why...a lot of states wouldn't allow the sport in their state if they didn't have some of these rules. And really, what's more fun than watching the ref tackle a guy to get him to stop beating on the guy on the ground? ;)

My favorite was the Johnny TwoBeers behind us screaming "Shamrock's a pussy" suuuuuuure big guy, get a little closer to the cage and say that....... ;)

Shamrock was looking huge. Physically he was looking great.

The condition of his face compared to Titos at the end said it all.

Now I want to see Liddel vs Tito.

I think Tito will also win that battle,but im not counting Liddel out just yet..The guy is tuff as nailz and has a proven chin...Should be a great fight...

Tank is cannon fodder these days, much like Shamrock was. A "name"opponent to be sacrificed in order to get a younger guy over. They can get their ass whupped and now go back to pro wrestling, or bouncing at some strip club. Shamrock deserved a worse beating for letting his kids go on fucking welfare while he jets around earning checks.

I say Liddle beats Tito. But I'd rather see Tito vs Silva again, but not in the caged octogon - I would like to see that under PRIDE rules.
